Mikel Arteta stated that Partey was replaced due to injury

The Ghanaian professional footballer will have a scan on his thigh injury on Monday

from Atletico Madrid in the last transfer was withdrawn at half time due to thigh injury in their 3-0 defeat to Aston Vila.

The Arsenal midfielder made 36 passes and had a shot on target in the first half time and Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta declared that decision for taking off partey and replacing him by Dani Ceballos was due to his injury.

The Ghanaian professional footballer will have a scan on his thigh injury.

stated that "We have to scan him on Monday or the day after and see what he felt straight away. Let's wait and see what the magnitude of the injury is.

Partey has left doubtful for his play in Ghana national team against Sudan in Africa Cup of Nations qualification competitions and now his injury is a great concern for Ghana National team.

Mikel Arteta also added that "I don't know [if he will go away with Ghana now]. As I said, the doctor will have to have a look at him and probably scan him. Then we will decide what to do with him."
