Ruggeri: 'Atlanta believe in young players'.

Atalanta's young talent Matteo Ruggeri made his Serie An entrance against Inter today: 'It's a dream come true.'

The 18-year-old made his first Champions League appearance in Champions League last Tuesday and today he played his debut game in Serie A for

Atlanta

.

“I am happy to be here for my

Serie A

debut, today’s emotion was incredible, everyone is dreaming of playing these games. I played in the youth sector and this is a dream come true," he told Sky Sport.

“I played two pre-season friendlies and I want to thank the coach for trusting me. I think Atalanta is the team where everyone dreams of playing. They teach so much on a personal and professional level.

“This club believe in young players, they teach you everything. They used to check my grades at school as well. Now it’s more difficult to go to school with trainings but my mum cares about school.

“I was lucky because I worked with great coaches who taught me what being a man means.”
