Mikel Arteta: Mesut Ozil has had many opportunities in Arsenal
Mikel Arteta stated that he has been fair for Mesut Ozil and he has had many opportunities in Arsenal.
While
Mesut Ozil
feels that he is not part of the squad and he has been stopped from being included in
Gunners' squad
for Premier League and Europe league in this season in spite that his contract will be finished next summer,
Arteta claimed
that he has been fair and Mesut Ozil has had many chances in
Arsenal
.
Arteta also added that Ozil intended to move away from Arsenal in the summer but he decided to remain in
Emirates Stadium
and now Ozil is not in Arteta's list for
Premier League
and
Europe league
and he insists on that he has been fair.
Arteta mentioned that I tried to give him many chances and I have been long-suffering over period of time and I treated him in a way that it was right and reasonable.
He declared that I am here to make best decision for our club and our team and this is what I have done and I have decided, and I explain them for everyone to know because they have to know the reason.
At the end, he added that Mesut Ozil has been a really good player last seasons and I admire it with all my heart and I believe in my decision.
