Mancini acclaims R.Lewandowski and C.Immobile both as two of the best

Roberto Mancini praised both team players Robert Lewandowski and Ciro Immobile.

Roberto Mancini, Italy football manager, introduced

Robert Lewandowski

in the opposing team, as one of the best strikers and such a high quality player that any team would like to own.  55 goals were scored by Robert Lewandowski across all competitions in 2019-20. He scored five goals in three league matches for champions

Bayern

. He is supposed to be amongst the front-runners for the 2021 “Ballon d'Or” award.

Mancini admired Lewandowski’s talents in a news conference when previewing Italy's Nations League clash in Poland, and said: "Lewandowski is one of the best centre-forwards in the world. It's a pity we never got to see him playing in Serie A, He is fundamental for Poland". "But Italy has always had some of the best defenders in the world and that remains true today.

The Azzurri, Italy national football team, will compete face to face against Poland in Nations League Group A1 on Sunday.

Ciro Immobile

also one of European football's valuable players, finished last term as Serie A's top goal scorer with 36 goals in 37 top-flight matches. However, Mancini declared when it comes to international football it is harder to defend Immobile's record.

The Lazio striker has scored just three times in the Mancini era.  "It might also be because the two teams play in very different ways," Mancini added.  "Ciro has always done well when playing with us. If we had 38 games in a row together, he'd score 25 goals, but it's tougher when you only get together every now and then."
