The PremierLeague returns today!

Time moves swiftly onward, football fans, but we've now nearly bridged the gap between last year's Premier League season and the beginning of this year's new 2020/21 campaign.

It’s a Saturday in the middle of September so that must mean it’s the opening day of the Premier League season.it's safe to say that Man City are focusing after losing the title to Liverpool last season and will be a force to be reckoned with - in fact, most bookmakers have them installed as favourites to snatch the trophy back from Anfield.

At the opposite end of the table, Premier League returnees Fulham and West Brom are both being tipped to drop right back down to the Championship - but having just spend £30 million on a new striker, fellow newcomers Leeds United are fancied to stay up.

How to watch Premier League football from outside your country

While grounds will be deadly silent, more games than before will be broadcast live on TV.If you find yourself abroad at all during the 2020/21 Premier League season, you'll likely find you're unable to access your usual football coverage like you would at home. Following a last-minute deal between the Premier League, broadcasters and clubs all of the 28 matches being played in September will be shown on either Sky, BT Sport, Amazon or the BBC. The previous plan had 17 matches scheduled for TV, with the remaining 11 being inaccessible. For fans, it could prove costly. People need a grab-bag of digital subscriptions or pay-per-view options to follow their clubs. In UK, Subscription services Sky Sports and BT Sport hold the keys to the Premier League kingdom once again this season, with Sky having the rights to the lion's share of 2020/21 fixtures and set to air 128 matches. BT Sport will broadcast 52 games, while Amazon Prime will exclusively stream 20 contests.
