Ukraine's first appearance in the UEFA Euro games was in 2012. They simply qualified for the match as a result of being a co-host. They defeated Sweden in their first game by a 2-1 win; Despite their efforts, Ukraine was eliminated following losses of 0–2 against France and 0–1 to Ukraine, both in Donetsk. They lost their chance at UEFA Euro 2016 too.

Ukraine will most probably use 4-3-3 formation for Euro 2020 which means they will have four defenders to defend their goal, three midfielders to keep the balance between attack and defense, and three forward to attack the opponent continually.

Heorhiy Bushchan’s first debut as Ukraine reprehensive was on 7 October 2020 in a friendly game which resulted in a 1-7 loss. His competitive debut was against Germany on 10 October 2020; three days after this game he recorded his first international clean sheet in a 1–0 home victory over Spain.

Heorhiy Bushchan’s performance in the last season was quite good. He had 23 appearances in Premier Liga that he came out of 13 of them with a clean sheet. In the Champions League, he appeared in four games and secured his goal just in one game. His Europa League stats is the same as his Champions League.

In Champions League Qualifying, he appeared in three games and came out of two of them with a clean sheet. Totally, he made 35 appearances in this season and recorded 17 clean sheets.

Every football fan knows that Heorhiy Bushchan has good control over the ball and can shoot it deep in the field. This ability will give Ukraine the opportunity to perform an excellent counterattack after being threatened by the opponent.

CB: Illia Zabarnyi

was called up to be in the Ukraine U21 squad in September 2020 and made his first debut against Finland. His national debut as a Ukraine representative was on 7 October 2020 in a friendly game against France. He is a defender in the team and he is known for his control over the ball.

When we speak about goalkeepers, they need to catch the ball in any circumstances! Defenders on the other side should focus on catching the ball, controlling it, and make an opportunity for attack. CB: Mykola Matviyenko

is mainly a center-back player but he can be used in left-back or right-back positions too. His performance in the 2021 season was good enough to be on our prediction list. He had 20 appearances in Premier Liga; he scored two goals and assisted in two others which is a good record for a defender.

Matviyenko is a proactive defender who can be aggressive if it’s needed. The thing about him is the fact that he can risk getting a yellow card but he won’t let anyone pass through him. Putting him in a CB position will help Ukraine's defense formation to stay strong and keep the goal safe.

One other ability of Mykola Matviyenko is his analysis of opponents. He can read their movement and predict their next move. This ability of his was seen many times on the field when he simply helped the team to catch the ball and go for a counterattack.

LB: Oleksandr Zinchenko

is an experienced defender that’s why we think he will be in

line up. He played his first international game in a UEFA Euro 2016 qualification match against Spain on 12 October 2015.

Oleksandr Zinchenko was in Ukraine’s squad for Euro 2016. He was there to fill Viktor Kovalenko’s place if needed. He played as Kovalenko’s substitute in Ukraine’s first two matches which was against Germany and Northern Ireland.

One ability that makes Oleksandr Zinchenko so special is the fact that he can break group attacks and quickly respond to opponent traps. He has the permission to move forward but he stands steel to keep the goal safe.

RB: Oleksandr Karavaev

Oleksandr Karavaev is one of those players who have a long history in the Ukraine national team. He was in U-16, U-17, U-18, and U-19 national team’s squad. He appeared in a total of 48 games and scored 6 goals during the time.

He is a right-back who can play as a right midfield if needed. In the 2021 season, Oleksandr Karavaev has appeared in 23 games; scored 2 goals, and assisted 5 goals. Considering he plays as a defender his performance in the season was outstanding. That’s why we think he will be in

 DM: Taras Stepanenko

plays in the defensive midfield position. He was the captain of Ukraine's national  U-21. He made his first debut in the senior team in a draw against Switzerland on 17 November 2010. Taras Stepanenko was in Ukraine’s squad for the UEFA Euro 2016. He appeared in two games in total.

Taras Stepanenko is a midfielder who is known for his physical abilities on the field. So, there is no one better than him when it comes to taking back the ball from opponents. This ability comes in handy when no one can stop the opponents by using strategies.

CM: Ruslan Malinovskyi

made his first debut as an international player on March 31, 2015, against Latvia. He scored his first national goal against Italy on October 10, 2018. He appeared in a total of 33 national games and scored 6 goals for Ukraine.

According to analyses, Ruslan Malinovskyi is very talented in dribbling and long shots which enable him to have some perfect passes during the game. However, when it comes to defense, he may lack some qualities. All that being said Ruslan Malinovskyi is one of the players that there is a 90 percent chance to be in Ukraine Euro 2020 line up.

CM: Mykola Shaparenko

Mykola Shaparenko made his first debut for Ukraine on 31 May 2018 in a game against Morocco. He played in total of seven international games without any goal! The thing that makes him so special is his talent in dribbling. He has good control over the ball and according to analysis, the success rate of his passes is high. All these reasons can make him a good candidate for the CM position in Ukraine Euro 2020 line up.

LW: Oleksandr Zubkov

Oleksandr Zubkov is the potential LW in Ukraine Euro 2020 line up. He was called up to Ukraine’s national team on 14 November 2020. So, he has not that experienced in national games. However, he has some qualities that make him Ukraine’s potential LW.

Oleksandr Zubkov is very talented at passing; he really knows to whom he should pass the ball. Another ability of Oleksandr Zubkov is his long shots that can help the striker to open the opponent’s goal. Moreover, he is a one on one specialist that makes him dangerous to those who attack his side.

RW: Andriy Yarmolenko

Andriy Yarmolenko's first national game was when he was in the Ukraine U-19 team playing against Japan. He also played for his country in the 2008 UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualification. On 10 October 2008, he was invited to the U-21 squad right after qualification games.

He was also in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying and even scored a hat-trick on 15 November 2014 in a 3-0 victory against Luxembourg. He was the player who scored the goal needed to qualify for Euro 2016. This is why he will probably be in the Ukraine Euro 2020 line up.

ST: Roman Yaremchuk

Roman Yaremchuk played for Ukraine’s national team since 2019. He has some abilities that makes him a good candite for Ukraine Euro 2020 line up. Roman Yaremchuk is so talented in passing and troughing balls. Moreover, he has good control over the ball which makes it difficult for the opponents to take back the ball from him.
