After it became evident that Thomas Sroensen would miss the tournament due to an injury received against Brazil, he was called up for UEFA Euro 2012 as a third goalkeeper on May 29, 2012. This goal keeper made his senior debut against Macedonia in a 3–0 friendly match at the Philip II Arena on February 6, 2013.

Schmeichel captained Leicester City to a 1–0 victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup Final on May 15, 2021, to win the competition for the first time in the club's history, with two saves by Schmeichel contributing significantly to his team's success.

Between 13 June and 7 September 2015, Kjaer assisted the national team keeps three straight clean sheets against Serbia, Albania, and Armenia. This player played both legs of Denmark's UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying play-offs against Sweden, however, the team was unable to qualify for the tournament after a 4–3 aggregate defeat.

CB: Andreas Christensen

Christensen is a defender who plays in the center of the field. Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte claimed in 2018 that the Dane had shown "a lot of potentials."

He says he has "a lot of faith in Christensen" because of his "excellent maturity." This is a player for Chelsea's immediate future as well as the next 10 or 14 years. He has the potential to become the team's captain in the future ".

RB: Daniel Wass

started his international career in 2005 on the youth side of Denmark. Daniel has always been there but his presence has become less and less significant every year.

Despite his exceptional abilities and marvelous long-shot precision, he seems to lack the luck to be chosen as the starting eleven but this year things can be opposite and he might get some decent playtime. We sincerely hope that he would be among 11 players who get to set their foot on the green pitch as the Denmark squad for Euro 2021.

LB: Joakim Maehle

In May 2014, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg was called up to the Denmark senior team for friendlies against Hungary and Sweden, and he made his debut against Sweden on May 28th, playing the entire 90 minutes.

On his third cap, on September 7, 2014, he scored his first international goal, equalizing as Denmark beat Armenia 2–1 in Copenhagen to start their UEFA Euro 2016 qualification campaign.

CM: Thomas Delaney
