Deschamps urges PSG to limit Mbappe’s game time before the World Cup
Being a key figure for France since winning the 2018 World Cup, Deschamps has called on PSG boss Galtier to limit the striker’s playing time ahead of the winter World Cup.
Scoring 10 goals in a total of 9 appearances for PSG this season,
Kylian Mbappeis in marvelous form as France would rely on the talisman for the upcoming Qatar World Cup that kicks off in November.
The France manager has expressed his concerns about Mbappe's fitness as he urges
Paris Saint-Germainto limit his playing time.
Before the Ligue 1 pause for the World Cup, PSG has 11 fixtures to play as a congested fixture schedule before the tournament could lead to the injury of the player. Deschamps told
Telefoot:
“I know he (Galtier) still wants to play Kylian.
"But from time to time: to be able to breathe a little bit, to have a few good minutes less, it won’t fail him, quite the contrary."
Since making his debut in 2017, Mbappe has scored 28 goals in 58 appearances for
France. Mbappe will be back in action for France against
Denmark
on Sunday before returning to his club to play Nice on Saturday, October 1.
