Everton is interested in signing Sardar Azmoun
Zenit’s Iranian striker has impressed many European clubs including Everton.
Iranian forward
Sardar Azmoun, who has scored nine goals in 19 games this season, has attracted so much attention, and because his contract with the Russian side expires at the end of the season, he can end up playing for another club next season.
The reports suggest that
Evertonhas shown interest in signing the Iran international alongside other clubs from Italy, Spain, France, and Germany, who have also tried to convince the 26-year-old, but in the Premier League, the race is harder with West Ham, Tottenham, and Arsenal already in the negotiations.
The player himself has confirmed that Tottenham has handed him an offer in September, and Lyon has offered him a move to Ligue 1 alongside Bayer Leverkusen and Roma, and Zenit rejected all those offers to be able to keep the high-profile striker as long as possible.
Everton will probably lose the Brazilian star Richarlison, and it is said that the Toffees are looking to replace the Brazilian with Sardar Azmoun, and considering the club’s owner’s long-term interest in the player, it seems like a win-win deal for the player and the Toffees.
