The Inter midfielder is unable to play in Italy due to his heart condition.

Christian Eriksen

collapsed during Denmark’s Euro 2020 game against Finland this summer. The Inter midfielder was given life-saving aid on the pitch but had to implant a heart defibrillator after the incident.

Due to Italy’s regulations on sportspeople with heart conditions, Eriksen is unable to continue his career in Serie A. The Dane is considering a move to another league, with Eredivisie being his most likely destination.

According to

Il Corriere dello Sport

, Eriksen is eyeing a move to Ajax. The regulations of Erediviese will not prevent Eriksen from playing, with Inter being keen to sell the player as soon as possible.

The Nerazzurri will receive no compensation from Eriksen, but they will be able to save his €7.5m-a-year salary once the move is finalized.
