Mbappe will be absent against Lille
The French star is unable to accompany his team due to injury.
coach Mauricio Pochettino has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe will not be able to play for Lille due to injury and that Lionel Messi doubtful due to a minor injury.
Paris Saint-Germain will meet the defending champions on Friday after the draw against Marseille. Pochettino will not have Mbappe for this game and the Argentine superstar will probably not be able to accompany his team.
Pochettino said:
"Messi missed training as a precaution. He did an individual session instead. We will see tomorrow if he can play.
"Kylian is of course important to us. As he is absent, there are several other possibilities over who plays through the middle.
"Messi can play there, but there are other alternatives. We'll have to see what the final decision is. As Pep Guardiola says, Messi can play anywhere."
