The Giallorossi were stunned by Bodo/Glimt in a Europa Conference League game earlier this week.

Roma were

crushed

6-1 by Norwegian side

Bodo/Glimt

in the Europa Conference League. The defeat was among Giallorossi’s most embarrassing defeats in their history, exposing the team’s unstable backline line under Jose Mourinho.

According to

Calciomercato

, the Portuguese manager will punish five players for the European defeat. Marash Kumbulla, Amadou Diawara, Riccardo Calafiori, Gonzalo Villar, and Borja Mayoral are expected to be excluded from Roma’s squad for their crucial match against Napoli on Sunday.

Having suffered two defeats in a row, Mourinho’s side will look to stop Napoli’s incredible winning streak at the Stadio Olimpico. The Giallorossi will then meet Cagliari in their next Serie A game on Wednesday.
