Argentina call up Messi and Dybala for World Cup qualifiers

in the Champions League clash on Tuesday.

The Argentina captain met the back of the net three times during their victory over Bolivia on September 10, but he has not yet scored a goal or provided an assist for the Ligue 1 side.

Dybala pulled off an impressive performance for


on Sunday before being sent off after 22 minutes during his side’s 3-2 victory over Sampdoria.

The Serie A giants that Dybala will not feature against Chelsea in the Champions League and in the battle against Torino because of injury.

However, the Argentina manager included both of them in a 30-man team before the qualifying battle against Paraguay, Uruguay and Peru.

Tottenham players Giovani Lo Celso and Cristian Romero were also called up by Lionel Scaloni, as well as Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez.

Argentina is on the UK’s red list due to the coronavirus pandemic, with anyone entering the country having to undertake a 10-day quarantine.

Villa will lock horns with Wolves on October 16 when the Premier League continues, while Tottenham will go to Newcastle the following day.
