James Rodriguez makes a move to Qatar's Al Rayaan

The Colombia international has departed Everton to join Al Rayyan as the two parties reached an agreement and confirmed the move.

James Rodriguez

has agreed terms with Qatari side Al Rayyan and parted ways with Everton. He was seen at the Manchester Airport on Sunday, travelling to Qatar to have his medicals done.

However, the details of their agreement have yet to be revealed.

The Colombian has not featured for

Everton

at all during the past four months and with Rafa Benitez arriving at Goodison Park, he was no longer in Everton’s plans.

Laurent Blanc, who is in charge of the Qatari club, has helped James in his decision to move to Al Rayyan. Blanc was on the lookout for an attacking midfielder and he believes the Colombia international will prove qualified.
