Ancelotti: I’m sure Juve will bounce back

Mon 20 September 2021 | 10:37

The Real Madrid boss is positive about Juventus’ chances of regaining their form under the newly appointed Massimiliano Allegri.

Juventus have struggled to find their rhythm at the start of the current campaign. Having failed to win any of their first four matches, the Bianconeri are sitting 18th in Serie A with two points.

In their fourth league match of the season, Massimiliano Allegri’s side faced Milan on Sunday. Alvaro Morata scored an early opener for the Bianconeri but an equalizer from Ante Rebic prevented Juve from securing their first victory.

Former Juventus and Milan manager

Carlo Ancelotti

believes Allegri’s team will regain their form.

“I see a very even Serie A,”

Ancelotti told

RadioRai

.<em>

“Juventus are having some problems and have lost certainties, but I’m sure they will bounce back and be among the title candidates in the end.

“They have maintained the structure of the last year while changing coach and some protagonists.”

Ancelotti left Everton to return to Real Madrid earlier this summer. The Italian coach says he is excited to work in La Liga despite the departures of Messi and Ronaldo.

“For me, it’s like being on a honeymoon,”

he said.

“I hope to stay here for a long time.

“Despite the fact that Spanish football has lost important players, there’s Vinicius Jr, who is doing very well and luckily plays for us.”

Real Madrid came back from behind to

defeat

Valencia in a tense game on Sunday. The Blancos are leading the La Liga table with 13 points from their five games, with Ancelotti targeting the second Spanish top-flight title of his career.
