The Tottenham manager talked about his side’s bad luck regarding the injuries as Steven Bergwijn and Lucas Moura both sustained injuries during their 2-2 draw with Rennes.

Tottenham

’s treatment room is really packed as

Steven Bergwijn

and

Lucas Moura

had to be subbed off with knocks during the battle against

Rennes

and Eric Dier and Son Heung-min are also not going to feature for the Spurs when they lock horns with Chelsea this weekend.

Nuno Espirito Santo

talked about the squad’s current situation, which is ‘not good’, on the club’s official website.

Again, many obstacles,"

he said.

"It’s not good, not good. I’m worried, naturally. I should not share that with you, this is not the moment, but just to be honest. I think the boys did well, because it’s tough, these things coming and we keep trying to find solutions.

“The guys did everything. It was a tough match. I think we started really well, played well, then second balls, something we have to improve...we have a lot of things to improve but the attitude was correct.

“We controlled the game until the end of the match with players in different positions. That was hard. In that moment, it was huge for us.”

During their first game in the UEFA Conference League group stage, Tottenham sealed a point with their vital draw in France. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg leveled the game for the Spurs.

Other players who will most likely not feature for Tottenham against the Blues are Cristian Romero, Giovani Lo Celso and Davinson Sanchez because of Covid-19 rules.
