Laporta held meeting with Barcelona’s board after Bayern loss

The Blaugrana president has reportedly held a meeting this morning regarding their heavy loss at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Barcelona

were defeated 3-0 in their clash against

Bayern Munich

in the Champions League, when

Thomas Muller

scored the opener and

Robert Lewandowski

sealed the Bundesliga side’s victory with his brace.

Barcelona fans and Joan Laporta did not take the defeat lightly and according to

Sport

, there has been a meeting after the game this morning with Mateu Alemany and Rafa Yuste present.

None of the men left the club until after 2am as it took until early hours of the morning for the meeting to come to an end.

It is not yet known what the meeting was about and there won’t be any rush decisions made regarding Ronald Koeman due to the defeat.

However, the meeting might have the Dutchman sit uncomfortably and competing against Bayern Munich was not going to be an easy task, especially after Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann’s departure this summer, and two of the three goals had a degree of fortune to be fair.
