Real Madrid gets injury boost ahead of return to Santiago Bernabeu

Carlo Ancelotti has welcomed back five players to training camps ahead of Real Madrid’s home clash with Celta Vigo.

Los Blancos have been away from their home ground, Estadio Santiago Bernabeu

, for more than a year due to ongoing construction works. However, they’ll be back home this weekend as the stadium is deemed safe enough to host games while work continues.

The Los Blancos will celebrate this return with

a La Liga match against Celta Vigo on Sunday

as Carlo Ancelotti gets an extra boost with the return of some of his injured players.

While Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois, David Alaba and Luka Jovic have all returned to training from international duties,

Real Madrid

defender,

Nacho Fernandez

, has also returned from injury after missing

Real Madrid’s victory over Real Betis.

Real Madrid have kept their first clean sheet in three games with the centre-back partnership of Alaba and Eder Militao last time out, hence, it’s not clear the Spaniard will be a starter for the Los Blancos in their game against Celta.

Nacho

was on the score-sheet in the Los Blancos’

opening game against Deportivo Alaves

. The 31-year-old scored Real Madrid’s second goal in their 4-1 victory over Alaves. Nacho headed a cross by Modric past Pacheco to make it 2-0 for Madrid.
