Depay admits his maiden Barcelona goal was ruined by Bilbao

scored a spectacular goal in Barcelona’s game against Bilbao on Saturday. Following Bilbao’s opener in the 50th minute, Depay’s first league goal for Barcelona equalized the game. The Blaugrana tried to get the match-winner in the last 15 minutes, but they were not able to get past Bilbao’s backline.
In a post-match interview, Depay spoke about his performance against the Basque side.
“It’s marvellous to score a goal, but I am disappointed with the result,”
the Dutch forward said.
“There are the two faces. I cannot really enjoy my premiere goal because we could not get the three points.
“It was a hard game, but obviously to score my first goal for the club means a lot and I want to get more.”
Barcelona will face Getafe in their next La Liga game on August 29.
