Commisso sets a price tag for Vlahovic

The La Viola president insists ‘there are clubs interested in Dusan Vlahovic, but I haven’t set a price-tag,’ as Tottenham, Atletico Madrid and Manchester City are competing for his signature.

Dusan Vlahovic

are in talks over a new contract, but the discussions are slowed as his representatives put in some new offers, including €8m in commission and full autonomy to talk about his transfer next summer.

I have not put Vlahovic up for sale, if anything we made an important contract renewal proposal,”

Commisso told

TGR RAI Toscana

reporter Sara Meini.

“There are clubs interested in him, but I haven’t set a price-tag. I want him to stay for one more season.”

The reports came from the same reporter who claimed that

Manchester City

had started negotiating with

Fiorentina

for Vlahovic.

This creates a bidding war with

Tottenham Hotspur

and the favorites to acquire him are

Atletico Madrid

, with the offers of around €80m including bonuses.

Rocco Commisso said he “would think about it” should he receive and offer of €100m for 21-year-old.

The Serbia international, who joined in 2018 for about €2m, met the back of the net 21 times last season.

He earned seven senior caps for his country, finding the target twice.
