Bulgaria’s Goranova wins Karate gold medal at the Olympic

Ivet Goranova has won the Olympic Karate’s gold medal in Tokyo for Bulgaria and she is now the first since Beijing 2008 when Rumyana Neykova grabbed the gold.

Ivet Goranova

beat Anzhelika Terliuga from Ukraine during the final of the women’s 55-kilogram division.

The 21-year-old asked for medical help at first, but it turned out that her injury was not serious and she came back to the tatami.
