Chelsea’s £85m offer which included Marcos Alonso was rejected by the Serie A champions.

The Blues

have been determined to bring their former striker

Romelu Lukaku

back to the club, but the Serie A is not willing to leave one of the most important players in their title-winning squad so easily and have rejected Chelsea’s £85m offer, which included

Marcos Alonso

The Blues are not giving up on the high-profile Belgian striker despite seeing two offers get rejected by the Serie A side.

chairman Steven Zang, who has rejected the Champions League winners' offer twice already, will probably listen to offers between £94m (€110m) and £102m (€120m) for the 28-year-old Belgium international.

Last season Inter won the Serie A with Antonio Conte, who left the club because he was concerned about the club’s financial situation, which could have led to cutting his budget, and Lukaku had a very important part in winning that title, scoring 24 goals.

Unlike his former boss, Lukaku is happy at Inter, and he is ready to begin the season and fight for more titles with the club, especially after being in UEFA's official team of Euro 2020 and going on holiday to the Caribbean and the USA, where he kept training in private. Now he is back in Milan getting ready for the next season as the Blues keep chasing to bring the player back to London after joining the club in 2011 and spending three years there.
