Tottenham snubbed by Milan manager Pioli

The Rossoneri boss is expected to renew his contract despite having suitors from top European clubs.

joined AC Milan from Fiorentina in 2019. The Italian coach has managed to improve the Serie A side’s performances, with the Rossoneri securing a Champions League spot for the first time in seven years. Pioli is yet to sign a contract extension with Milan, but he has reportedly snubbed a big-money offer from the Premier League to stay at San Siro.

’s offer earlier this summer. The north London side finally appointed Nuno Espirito Santo as their new coach, while Pioli is set to remain at Milan for the upcoming season.

Pioli is the worst-paid coach among the managers of the top Serie A clubs. The former Fiorentina boss earns a €2m-per-year salary which is expected to increase significantly in a new deal. However, the 55-year-old is reportedly in no rush to negotiate for a new contract as he is focused on his side’s pre-season campaign.

Milan will face


in a friendly match on Saturday. Pioli’s side will start their new Serie A campaign with a match against Sampdoria on August 23.
