Man Utd close to sign Varane from Real Madrid
The French star will leave for Old Trafford soon.
Sky Sports claims that Manchester United are very close to reaching an agreement with Real Madrid defender Rafael Varane.
The French defender took part in Real Madrid's training session in Spain today, but it seems that this is his last training session in Real Madrid and he will leave Madrid for Manchester soon. Although negotiations are still ongoing, agreements have been reached on several issues. United have not yet reached a full agreement with Real Madrid, but they are confident that they can make the Whites happy with the transfer.
The 28-year-old defender is also said to want to be transferred to the Red Devils. When the final agreement is reached, United hopes to enter into negotiations with Real very soon and finalize the transfer.
Varane, who has established himself as one of the best defenders in the world, will be a great help to United's defense for next season. He joined Real from Lens in 2011, made more than 350 appearances for the Whites, winning four Champions Leagues and three La Liga titles.
