Napoli's Koulibaly unhappy as the club turn down Man Utd offer

According to reports from Italy, Napoli center-back Kalidou Koulibaly is dissatisfied after Napoli turned down a €30 million offer from Manchester United.

For a long time, the 30-year-old has been connected with a transfer away from the Stadio Maradona, and the Red Devils have reportedly given him a way out.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the

Premier League

heavyweights offered €30 million to recruit the Senegal international, but the Partenopei turned down the bid.

As per the report, Fali Ramadani, the player's representative, informed Napoli about Man Utd's bid.

Koulibaly's contract with Azzurri expires in two years, and he is pondering leaving the

Serie A

side, where he joined in 2014 for €7.5 million from Genk.

The Napoli defender is said to be dissatisfied with the Partenopei's first rejection of United's offer to recruit him.

Luciano Spalletti

, the new Napoli manager, hopes Koulibaly will reconsider his decision and choose to stay at the Stadio Maradona in 2021-22.

On the other hand, Napoli chairman

Aurelio De Laurentiis

is willing to trade but expects a greater price for the seasoned defender.
