Barcelona’s Ter Stegen aiming to make a September return
The Blaugrana shot-stopper’s injury treatment is progressing and he may come back in September.

chose to not play for Germany at Euro 2020 as he underwent surgery for his knee injury that has been bothering him since May.
It is estimated that the
Barcelonagoalkeeper will return to action in mid-September but now he may only miss three matches at the beginning of the 2021-22 season.

, the shot-stopper is set to go back to full training in August and get fit for match action following the first international break of the campaign.
Barcelona will start the season on August 15 in a battle against
Real Sociedad. They will then face
Athletic Bilbaoand
Getafe, with the 29-year-old missing all three.
If he recovers sooner, he is going to be prepared for their first Champions League battle of the 2021-22 campaign in mid-September, with
Neto
being his replacement at the beginning of the season next month.
