Marc Roca will be away from action for a few weeks

Bayern Munich’s Marc Roca will probably miss the opening game of the season.

Marc Roca

, who had planned to find his way to the first team in the pre-season, was injured during training and will be away from the action for a few weeks suffering from an ankle ligament injury. It has been a disappointment for the Spanish midfielder, who was hoping to prove himself to

Julian Nagelsmann

as a high-quality player.

The good news for the player is that he won’t be needing surgery, although he would be on the sidelines for weeks. After his struggles under Hansi Flick, Roca was determined to start his second season at the club with a better form; he even refused to go to Tokyo to join his national team for the Olympic games.

It has been confirmed that the player will miss the pre-season and possibly a couple of his side’s clashes in the Bundesliga, which is the worst thing for a player who had been working under the highest level of pressure.

Roca shouldn’t be so sad despite his injury at the worst time; because Bayern Munich’s new manager Julian Nagelsmann has been a long-time admirer of him as he had shown interest in signing the player while he was at RB Leipzig and is probably interested in using him now too.
