There is no perfect team - Tite after Ecuador draw

Selecao's winning streak finally came to a halt after ten games.

After

Brazil

's draw with Ecuador and snapping their record of 10 consecutive victories, Brazilian coach Tito claimed that there is no perfect team.

Last night, Brazil played against Ecuador in the Copa America, and while Neymar was rested, Selecao did not achieve a better result than 1-1. Eder Militao scored his first national goal, but Brazil, who had ten changes from their previous game, was eventually stopped by Angel Mena's goal earned just one point. Tito now claims that there is no perfect team.

Tite said:

"Saying that you cannot err is not human, perfection does not exist, what we have to do is minimise the margin of error for a team.

"When we talk about defensive solidity and also when we talk about game generation, we have to find the balance point without being too defensive or offensive.

"During matches there are different ways to play, dominance is when you have the ball and you try to attack, control when you stand further back, you do not have the ball and the opponent does not generate danger.

"So to play these difficult games we have to find the balance between dominance and control."
