Scholes mentions Man United’s dream signings

The Manchester United legend would like to see the manager strengthen his back line and engine room this summer.

Red Devils legend

Paul Scholes

thinks that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer should aim for

Jadon Sancho

,

Jack Grealish

and

Marquinhos

in the summer transfer window.

Manchester United

are going to have a hectic summer, with the Solskjaer’s side keen on getting the biggest prizes on offer.

For that to happen, they have to invest big money, with Scholes believing that they should raid the clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa and Paris Saint-Germain for their prized assets.

Scholes told the

Webby & O'Neill show

about what United should be searching for in the upcoming month:

"I think we need someone who is a creative midfield player. Grealish or Sancho, one of them would be ideal.

"It would be great to have a left-footed centre-back but I don’t think it’s needed, I don’t think we are desperate for that.

"I would like to see a centre-half come in next to Maguire. I think [Victor] Lindelof is doing alright, I just think alright isn’t good enough to win a league.

"Marquinhos from PSG, I think he’d be a brilliant centre-half next to Maguire but again you’re talking about a lot of money."

All the mentioned clubs have linked with United, but it has yet to be determined whether those interests turn into contracts.

They have been eyeing Dortmund winger Sancho for a long time, as they have tried to lure him into signing a contract during last summer’s transfer window.

United also held plenty of talks in order to sign with Villa’s Grealish, but they failed to do so and aimed for Bruno Fernandes.

The other player United have long been mooting for is Marquinhos, but he is PSG’s captain and may sign an extension with the Ligue 1 side, meaning that his transfer fee will not be cheap.
