The newly-promoted

Spezia

Spezia’s 2-1 victory over

Sassuolo

gave Italiano and his men a boost ahead of their game with League leaders

Milan

.

“It’s often different working after a win,”

Italiano admitted at a press conference.

“The atmosphere is always different from when you don’t get the results.

“We worked well, with great intensity and we prepared for such a difficult game in a peaceful atmosphere.”

Italiano is hopeful to keep his side on the winning track and continue their good form against Milan.

“We hope to give continuity to this win, it would be very important,”

Italiano said.

"We know we are facing the leaders, a team in great condition, above all mentally.

“They continue to express themselves at a very high level. It’s yet another difficult match to prepare for with the utmost attention.

“They have great players, many qualities and therefore we have to be concentrated.”
