James: "We’ve gone into every game believing that we can win"

Wales will play against Croatia in the preliminary round of Euro 2024.

Wales

have earned seven points in five games in the preliminary stage of Euro 2024 and are currently ranked fourth. They defeated Lithuania 2-0 in their previous game and will play against Croatia next.

Daniel James said about the game against Croatia that their qualification is in their own hands.

“We’ve gone into every game believing that we can win and it is still in our hands." James said.

“Croatia lost the other night but they’re a great team that’s been to the semis and finals of World Cups. You can’t underestimate them at all.

“We had a start in this group that wasn’t up to our standards, but we trust ourselves to go into this game with heads held high.”

James has played 45 games for the Wales national team and scored six goals.
