Palacios Renewed his contract with Bayer Leverkusen

Exequiel Palacios has extended his contract at

until 2028.

"Exequiel Palacios has established himself as an incredibly important player at the Werkself. The fact he was a key member of the Argentina team at the World Cup in Qatar underlines his qualities as a team and individual player," 

Simon Rolfes, managing director of Leverkusen said.

Bayer Leverkusen announced in December 2019 that Palacios would sign a five-and-a-half-year contract and join the team on January 1, 2020.

Palacios has scored eight goals in 87 games for Leverkusen. He has also played 25 games for the Argentina national team.

Bayer Leverkusen will play against Mainz in their next game.
