West Ham have completed the signing of Edson Alvarez from Ajax
Edson Alvarez Joins West Ham United Until 2028.
have signed Edson Alvarez from AFC Ajax in a £35m transfer. He will wear the number 19 shirt at West Ham.
Alvarez, after signing the contract with West Ham, said on the club's official website that he is honored to be a part of this club.
“I am very happy and very proud to be here. It’s a hugely sentimental moment for me in my career. To join a club like West Ham is a dream for me and my family,”
he said.
“The Premier League is a special league, the best league in the world and I think my style will suit it.
“I now have a responsibility to West Ham and the West Ham family and I will give absolutely everything for the shirt.”
He scored 13 goals in 147 games for Ajax in four seasons.
West Ham will play against Bournemouth in their first match of the new Premier League season.
