Terzic: "It was a narrow but deserved victory in an extremely important game for us"

Borussia Dortmund are still in the hunt for their first league title since the 2011-12 campaign after beating Union Berlin.

Edin Terzic sighed with relief after Youssoufa Moukoko's late goal gave

Borussia Dortmund

a 2-1 win over Union Berlin, keeping them in touch with Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich.

In an interview with Sky, Terzic spoke about the game:

"It was a narrow but deserved victory in an extremely important game for us. We produced a really good performance in the first half, both offensively and defensively. We linked up well with each other and were also very active without the ball. Unfortunately, we were no longer able to maintain that in the second half. It's always tough and always tight against Union Berlin. Hence why we're relieved that we're heading home with a victory."

"It is often not easy against this opponent. You can see the investment we had to make to get over the halfway line and have chances to score, and what the opponent had to invest to score.

Edin Terzic's 50th Bundesliga game as head coach ended with a 2-1 win. He now has 32 wins, five draws and 13 defeats
