Chelsea 2-2 Everton: Simms stuns Chelsea and rescues a point

Despite their lack of ambition for much of Saturday's Premier League clash, Everton managed to stun Chelsea with two goals that came against the run of play

Ellis Simms scored his first Premier League goal to earn Everton a 2-2 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The Toffees had lacked ambition for most of the game but shocked Chelsea with two goals against the run of play.

Chelsea

had taken the lead through Joao Felix, who scored his second goal in the competition since joining the Blues in January.

After falling behind to Joao Felix's goal, Everton managed to equalize with Abdoulaye Doucoure's header from a corner. However, Chelsea regained their lead through a penalty scored by Kai Havertz.

Despite the odds against them,

Everton

managed to secure an 89th-minute equalizer through substitute Ellis Simms, who confidently beat Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

This goal stopped Chelsea's three-game winning streak and prevented them from securing a home victory.
