Salah’s agent rules out ‘nonsense’ Liverpool exit rumor

There have been rumors claiming Salah would leave Liverpool if they do not get Champions League football which his agent calls “nonsense”

Mohamed Salah’s agent, Abbas Issa has called out the “nonsense” rumors linking him with a move away from Anfield, should the Reds don’t qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.

The Egyptian hasn’t been performing at the high standards he himself set at Liverpool, but he has been one of their better players in a forgettable season.

Salah

scored and assisted in a 5-2 defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League last week. He has scored 18 goals and provided 8 assists in all competitions for Liverpool so far this season.

While Salah has always shown his loyalty to Liverpool in his time at Anfield, there has been always reports linking him to other clubs. Recently there has been a rumor that the Egyptian will leave the Reds if they don’t qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season. But his agent Ramy Abbas Issa has denied the rumors categorically.

Quote-tweeting a since deleted post from Anfield Watch regarding the story, Abbas Issa wrote:

"Nonsense. This was never discussed or thought about. Not qualifying to the Champions League hasn't even crossed our minds."

, which was signed last year, runs until June 2025.
