Leeds United confirms a new head coach won't be hired anytime soon

After sacking Jesse Marsch, Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas acted as co-manager in the club with Skubala serving as the leader of the group. Unable to bring suitable candidates, the club decided to continue with the trio.

After sacking Jesse Marsch, Leeds United earned an impressive draw at Old Trafford against Man United and a defeat against their rivals at home. Sitting one point clear of the relegation zone, the Whites decided to continue with the trio of Michael Skubala, Paco Gallardo, and Chris Armas as co-managers.

They stated on their official website:

"Leeds United can confirm Michael Skubala will continue to lead the men’s first team for the club’s upcoming fixtures.

"Paco Gallardo and Chris Armas will carry on supporting Michael, alongside the backroom team already in place.

"Skubala, Gallardo and Armas have overseen two positive performances over the last week against Manchester United and will lead training ahead of this weekend’s Premier League game against Everton at Goodison Park."

Jesse Marsch is expected to take over at the bottom-tabled Southampton in the coming week.
