Expert lawyer tells how long should fans wait for Man City case’s decision

Nick De Marco KC reveals that fans shouldn’t expect any decisions to be made anytime soon about the Manchester City case.

In the wake of

Man City

being charged of 100 financial breaches by the Premier League, the footballing world are eager to learn about the punishments the club may receive. However, De Marco KC, a lawyer who is an expert in Premier League cases, says that no decisions will be made in the immediate future.

"Having worked on the Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday financial fair play cases, both of which involved two charges over about two years and took about a year and a half from charges to the end, I would not be surprised if these proceedings took considerably longer given there are apparently 115 charges covering a period of 14 years,”

De Marco told The Times.

It was reported yesterday that the Big 6 clubs are pushing for an immediate answer from the independent commission hired by PL to hand out appropriate punishment to City. But it seems like that they won’t get their wishes anytime soon.
