Moyes Believes Declan Rice's transfer would "blow British transfer out of the water"

is Chelsea’s new winter signing for a record-breaking fee of £106.8m from Portuguese club Benfica, being officially announced on Wednesday. However, West Ham Manager, David Moyes does not think this of it as a new record with Decline Rice possibly breaking that record.

He believes that Rice’s transfer to Chelsea would be far above Fernandez’s transfer fee as he said it will 

"blow it out of the water"

"Undoubtedly

is going to be a top player. He'll be a British transfer record if he ever leaves West Ham,"

Moyes told BBC in an interview after west Ham’s draw against Newcastle.

"There's a lot of talk about it and when you see what's going about for the prices, I think Dec will be blowing that out of the water, that's for sure when it comes around."

He then was asked whether Declan Rice’s exit was inevitable or not:

"I hope it's not. I hope he sees his time here."
