Graham Potter: You have to credit Forest but we have a long way to go

Serge Aurier’s volley canceled Raheem Sterling's first-half opener as Graham Potter's side struggled to live with Nottingham Forest's aggressive style of play and were fortunate to bag a point. Graham Potter admits his side has to work on many aspects of their game.

Chelsea

faced Nottingham Forest away on Sunday with the latter being in the relegation zone. After Raheem Sterling opened up for the visitors in the 16th minute, Serge Aurier scored the equalizer for Forest in the 63rd minute as the two sides settled on a draw.

The Blues Boss

Graham Potter

told his post-match interview with

BBC Match of the Day

:

"It was overall below par for us.

“You have to credit Forest, they did what they did well. We didn't do well enough when we had control. It's always tough because you have a lot of big teams with lots of top players and coaches. We need to focus on the next match but clearly we have a long way to go."

Chelsea will host

Manchester City

on Thursday for their next Premier League game.
