11 Serie A players dominate Poland's World Cup 2022 squad

In Group C with Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and Argentina, Poland announced its World Cup squad dominated by Serie A trio, Piotr Zielinski, Arkadiusz Milik, and Krzysztof Piatek as 11 players of their 26-man squad are from Serie A.

Kicking off their Qatar World Cup on November 22 against Mexico, Czesław Michniewicz has announced

Poland

's World Cup squad that includes 11 Serie A players including all three goalkeepers. Spezia's Bartlomiej Dragowskim Bologna’s Lukasz Skorupski and Juventus'

Wojciech Szczesny

were all named as the nation's goalkeepers.

In addition, Poland's defense includes Sampdoria’s Bartosz Bereszynski, Benevento veteran Kamil Glik, Spezia’s Jakub Kiwior, and Roma full-back,

Nicola Zalewski,

as they have also two midfielders from Serie A, Napoli star Piotr Zielinski, and Fiorentina’s Szymon Zurkowski.

In addition to Barcelona's

Robert Lewandowski

and Charlotte's Karos Swiderski, Juve's Milik and Salernitana's Piatek are also called up for the tournament while Karol Linetty of Torino has been left out of Poland's squad for

Qatar 2022
