Tebas demands "immediate sanctions" against PSG following €1b net loss

PSG has reportedly made a loss of €350m in the 2021-22 season, piling on to the loss of €224m from the previous season. Tebas called for “immediate sanctions” as he published a formal letter to UEFA in the summer following Mbappe's contract renewal.

The president of La Liga had a busy summer as Barcelona routinely pushed the financial limits of the league by selling various television and media rights to raise funds for player transfers, salary, and registration for the upcoming season.

However, he didn’t leave

Kylian Mbappe

’s weird contract extension with

without notice as he published a formal letter to UEFA in the summer following Mbappe’s renewal. UEFA may fine PSG €65m for their summer activity, although only €55m of the fine will be suspended in case of another transgression.

Tebas told L’Equipe:

“10 million euros for PSG and its president (Nasser Al Khelaïfi) is a coffee

.”

Accusing PSG of "breaking the ecosystem of football", Tebas hinted that PSG's net spent has unbalanced the playing field as the French giants have made losses of €1b over the last six or seven seasons.

The

Ligue 1

champions are happy to pay Mbappe an astounding £44m every year to submit his long-term future to PSG.

Lionel Messi

, who was the world's most elevated worker, is said to get a yearly entirety of £35m, while Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo both have contracts that see them gain £26.3m.
