UK rejected Diego Costa's work permit for moving to Wolves

The transfer of Diego Costa to Wolverhampton seems to be in limbo after the recent decision of the British government.

Wolverhampton Wanderers' bid to sign Diego Costa has hit a dead end after he did not get work permit, according to reports.

The former Chelsea star's initial request was rejected for not earning enough points and Wolverhampton are trying to appeal the ruling.

The 33-year-old striker was supposed to travel to England tonight and undergo medical tests, but it is not yet clear whether it is possible to continue this process or not.

Wolves, who signed Sasa Kalajdzic in the summer, are considering a new striker after he was injured on his debut against Southampton. Costa is a free agent from January 2022 and can join this club. He scored 59 goals in 12 games for Chelsea in the Premier League.
