Berardi in tears after being carried off in Sassuolo vs Milan
Sassuolo and the Italy squad are worried as they saw Domenico Berardi left the field against the Rossoneri in tears.
Domenico Berardi
had a dramatic game against
Milanas his penalty in the first half was saved by Mike Maignan.
He then ran clear on goal just for Theo Hernandez to bring him down. However, no red card was given as the offside flag was shown.
Berardi got injured in the move and he made a gesture to the bench saying that it was a thigh strain.
He was then sent off to the bench, where he was in tears before he was taken to the locker room in order to be checked.
The 28-year-old has played for
Sassuolohis entire career and penned a new deal with the club that will keep him until June 2027. He was capped 24 times for his country and met the back of the net six times. He was also part of the Italy squad that grabbed the Euro 2020 trophy.
