Udinese hopeful about signing Bellerin from Arsenal

The Spanish defender is once again planning to leave Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta recently claimed that there is no new news about the departure of

Hector Bellerin

, but the Italian media claimed that he is close to joining

Udinese

.

Udinese are trying to find a replacement for Brandon Soppy who recently joined Atalanta. Sky Sports and Gazzetta dello Sport claimed that the former Betis defender is Udinese's first choice to strengthen the right back and the two clubs have a good relationship.

Therefore, Bellerin's move to Serie A is not too far off the mind, although they may have a problem with

Arsenal

over his salary. Bellerin took a pay cut to join Real Betis last season, but still received 3.5 million euros.

If Udinese are to sign Bellerin on loan, the 27-year-old defender will need to extend his contract with Arsenal for another season as his current deal runs until 2023.

More news regarding the transfer is expected in the coming days, although the Arsenal manager has denied any new updates regarding Bellerin.
