Berardi extends his Sassuolo contract

The Sassuolo icon has extended his deal with the club until 2027, committing his future and career to the club.

Domenico Berardi’

s contract was due to reach its end in the summer of 2024 but he has now penned an extension that will keep him until 2027 and each year he was linked with a move away.

The 28-year-old also attracted the attention of

Juventus

, Inter, Milan, Fiorentina, Roma and Napoli, but they did not meet the demanding price.

Berardi played for

Sassuolo

for his entire career as he was in their youth academy and he also was in a co-ownership status with the Bianconeri but he did not accept to join the club.

He has featured in 327 games, meeting the back of the net 121 times and contributing 84 assists.

For his amazing performance, he also got a regular spot in the

Italy

national team and has been capped 24 times, scoring six goals.
