Breaking: West Ham agrees on £10.1m deal to sign PSG's Thilo Kehrer

Having been identified as a defensive target by the Hammers, West Ham has reportedly agreed to a £10.1m deal with Paris Saint-Germain the 25-year-old Germany international who can both play as a right-back and centre-back.

, after weeks of negotiations, the Hammers have agreed to a deal with Paris Saint-Germain to sign defender

Thilo Kehrer

for a fee of £10.1m plus add-ons. The defender has arrived in London to have a medical and finalise personal terms ahead of a switch to the Premier League side. Kehrer arrives at West Ham as a replacement for Issa Diop, who joined

Fulham

on a five-year deal last week.

' side is hopeful that Kehrer arrive in time to be available for their Thursday night's Europa Conference League qualifier against Danish club Viborg. Sevilla was also interested in signing the German international, however, he preferred a switch to

in 2018 for a €37 million fee and the Germany international went on to win seven major honors with the Parisians. Kehrer is assured on the ball and is capable of playing with both feet.
