Mertens still undecided over future amid Juventus and Inter links

Former Napoli star Dries Mertens is still undecided about his future.

Mertens

who is a free agent after his contract with

Napoli

expired still has not decided on his new team.

Sky Sport Italia reports that

Juventus

is interested in Mertens. The 35-year-old striker also has an offer from Olympique Marseille. The Belgium international also has been linked with Lazio in recent weeks.

Marseille also is close to signing Alexis Sanchez as a free agent and some reports even suggest Inter could see signing Dries Mertens on a free transfer as a low-cost replacement for Alexis Sanchez and the former Napoli star is open to joining Inter.

Napoli wanted to extend his contract in a deal worth half his previous salary but he rejected their offer and decided to leave Napoli after nine years. According to the Italian media, there is a possibility Mertens and Napoli reach an agreement.

Mertens joined Napoli from PSV Eindhoven in 2013 and since then scored 148 goals in 397 matches and is Napoli's outright all-time leading goalscorer. He won two Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italian with Napoli.

Last season, Mertens scored 13 goals and provided two assists in 37 appearances across all competitions.
