Former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey set to join Nice

Former Juventus and Arsenal player Aaron Ramsey is close to joining Ligue 1 side Nice as a free agent.

Fabrizio Romano claims that

Aaron Ramsey

has reached full agreement with

OGC Nice

on a free move but he still has not signed his contract.

Aaron Ramsey is a free agent now as his deal with

Juventus

had been terminated by mutual consent.

Former Arsenal player has been linked with Newcastle, Galatasaray, and newly-promoted Serie A side AC Monza but it seems he play in France next season.

The 31-year-old Ramsey joined Juventus as a free agent in 2019 but just played in 70 matches due to injuries. He won one Serie A and Coppa Italia with the Bianconeri.

He joined Rangers on a loan deal last January but played in seven games for them in the Scottish Premiership and he missed his penalty in the final of the Europa League against Eintracht Frankfurt as his side lost the game.

He played for Arsenal between 2008 to 2019 and won three FA Cups with the Gunners.

Nice also is close to signing Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel and defender Mattia Viti from Empoli.
