Milan on the lookout for De Ketelaere alternatives

Reports claim that the Rossoneri are not willing to improve their Charles De Ketelaere offer; therefore, they are considering the Blues’ Hakim Ziyech or Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi.

As per reports from

Sport Mediaset

,

Milan

were going to increase their offer to €33m including add-ons plus a 10 per cent cut of any transfer fee in the future.

However, the Rossoneri’s Calciomercato.com transfer expert Daniele Longo said that the speculations are not backed by the Serie A giants.

Their latest offer for

Charles De Ketelaere

stays €30m plus €2m in bonuses, and they are not willing to increase it as they think it is what the 21-year-old deserves.

Club Brugge, however, demand more since Leeds United were ready to offer €37m, but the player was not interested in the move.

It all means that the Rossoneri are waiting for an answer, whereas they are also looking for other options, with

Chelsea

’s Hakim Ziyech catching their attention.

The Blues are willing to loan him if an option to buy is included in the contract, which would mean Milan have to have funds left over to invest on a defender.

Sassuolo

’s Berardi emerges as another candidate they are considering, but his price tag is €40m and he appears unlikely to depart this summer as Gianluca Scamacca left for West Ham United.
